Midland League Division One club Leicester Road have strengthened its squad with the signing of talented midfielder Ben Harris from Midland League Premier Division side Shepshed Dynamo.

Harris, 23, who hails from Leicester, is a left-footed central midfielder who has also previously played for Grantham Town.

His addition to the squad follows the recent signing of 23-year-old Jetmir Esso from Evo-Stik League South East side Barton Rovers.

Esso, a right-sided offensive player, has worked hard on his fitness since arriving and is now starting to make his mark.

Roshan Mall, 26, is another offensive player to have joined the Leicester Road ranks.

He has played a high level in his native Nepal with Three Star FC and was recently on trial with neighbouring club Barwell of the Evo-Stik League Premier.

Leicester Road manager Neil Lyne told the club`s Pitchero website: “All three have very good technical ability. They not only fit into our style of play but have also bought into the Leicester Road philosophy. They all add a little something different to what we have, giving us further options to accommodate the challenges any one individual game presents”.
