Sam Wilkinson, manager of Evo-Stik League South club Lincoln United, has wasted no time in securing his management team for the 2018/19 season.
There are no surprises with the set up being the same as that which finished the season, with consistency the key.
Stuart Reddington has agreed to carry on in his role as assistant-manager.
On announcing this news Wilkinson told the club`s official Pitchero website “I’m delighted with this, in my opinion he’s as good as there is.
“His knowledge of the game and the league is as good as I’ve worked with throughout my playing and management days.
“His enthusiasm for the club and his ability to get the lads up for training and games is faultless.
“The way he prepares the players mentally and physically for each game is top draw.
“He always maintains high standards and wants to improve the players and team.
“He is a true Lincoln United guy as well, which is always an added bonus.”
Kevin Wright has also committed for next season as goalkeeper coach.
Wilkinson added: “I’m delighted, I’ve known Kev for years and tried numerous times to get him to join the club which he did at the end of the season, playing a big part in the turn of results.
“He’s been brilliant for me personally and has a big say on team affairs.
“He’s more than just a goalkeeper coach he assists me and Redders in every way towards training, match preparation and on the side lines.
“When I look back on last season we were slightly short after losing Chris Hall early on.
“Sean Wright filled that gap for a while and did a good job, but since Kev’s arrival the balance is exactly what I want.
Martin Burnett is another key member of the management team and will fill the same coaching role as last year.
On Burnett, Wilkinson said: “He’s a real club person, who works as hard as anyone at the football club.
“Martin supports and on occasions takes training, as well as match day warm ups and preparation with Redders.
“He’s got lots of experience and has seen everything at Lincoln United.”
The final members of the team are Luke Treadwell, who will continue as physio and Steve Churcher as kit man.
On the management team, Wilkinson said: “I know all the management team are hungry to continue in their roles and strive for greater success.
“We try to improve from week to week and year to year.
“This I think we’ve done, we have progressed since I first took over and we must continue to build on last season and more importantly the last sixteen games.
“We look forward to season 2018/19 in the Evo-Stik East”.
