Lyon Leaves Walnut Boys For Swans

ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division title-chasers Newport Pagnell have signed the versatile Michael Lyon from Evo-Stik League South East side Kempston Rovers.

Lyon joined the Walnut Boys in 2015, and was a key player in the 2015/16 `double` winning season in the United Counties League, and helped establish the side in the Southern League.

The 35-year-old, who was previously with Oxford City, Ampthill Town, Chesham United and Leighton Town, made ninety-nine appearances for Kempston, netting 4 times, most recently in the Emirates FA Cup win over Wisbech Town.
