Evo-Stik League Premier club Coalville Town have confirmed that highly-rated midfielder Alex Howes has joined from SkyBet League Two side Notts County.

The 17-year-old has joined the Ravens on a `work experience` deal until further notice.

Operating in the centre of midfield, Howes is highly thought of at Notts County, so much that last season he was handed his first-team debut by Kevin Nolan against Colchester United.

He goes straight into the squad for tomorrow`s trip to Lancaster City.
