“Marko has been a fantastic leader for this club and we wish him every success in his next venture.
“We would also like to thank his management team, along with the players Marko has brought to the club.
“Marko`s man management skills have been the best that we have seen throughout the club and his exceptional skills of working with and bringing in youth players have been second to none. Many of these players have now gone on to play at a higher level in the footballing Pyramid.
“The commitment shown from Marko over the last three years has been first class. This has been proven after turning down managerial roles at a higher level on numerous occasions.
“After handing in his resignation, the chairman and vice-chairman then explained that the running of the club had taken its toll and has been taken as far as possible.
“They then explained that the club would then resign from the league.
“It is a sad time for Borrowash Victoria as a club and a statement regarding the next steps will be issued in due course.
“But for the time being, we would like to thank Marko for taking the club this far and for the professionalism he has shown during his time in a role that he has exceeded in”.
