New Mills AFC have announced that goalkeeper Ollie Martin has re-joined the Hallmark Security League Division One club from Evo-Stik League North side Mossley AFC.

Martin previously spent several seasons at Church Lane, becoming a supporters` favourite during his first spell at the club, before moving on to the Lilywhites following the Millers relegation last season.

Martin was previously with Fletwood Town, Stalybridge Celtic and Ange IF in Sweden.

After spending the majority of 2017/18 as the number one choice at Seel Park, producing some fine displays during his time there, Martin has decided that the time is right to return to Church Lane and reclaim the Millers number one jersey.

“I really enjoyed my previous spell at Church Lane,” Martin told the club`s official Pitchero website. “I felt that it was the right time to come back.

“I received a lot of positive feedback last time I was here and it was an easy choice to make to come back. I want to enjoy playing football again. We have a more than capable squad here and we’re looking to produce a strong finish to the season.”
