Mekhi McLeod has extended his loan move with Evo-Stik League Premier club Warrington Town from SkyBet League Two promotees Accrington Stanley.

The Wire guaranteed themselves a play-off spot last week after beating Shaw Lane AFC 2-1.

Formerly with Wolves, Glasgow Rangers and Billericay Town, McLeod, 21, joined Warrington towards the end of March, and has extended his spell at Cantilever Park as they have secured themselves a home play-off semi-final place with one game of the regular season remaining.

The winger signed for Stanley last summer and has made fifteen appearances for the first-team this season, scoring in a 4-0 win against Wigan Athletic in the Checkatrade Trophy group stage.
