Moncur Sent Out On Loan To Bishop`s Stortford

Evo-Stik League South Premier club Bishop`s Stortford have signed Freddy Moncur on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League side Leyton Orient.

Moncur was handed a new one-year deal with the O’s this summer following the expiration of his previous contract.

Moncur, who had previously been on the books at West Ham United, enjoyed a brilliant campaign for the youth team during the 2014/15 season as he amassed an impressive 10 goals as well as contributing with a number of assists.

The midfielder’s first-team debut came in September 2015 as a half-time substitute in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat at Luton Town, before making his second appearance in the 6-1 Emirates FA Cup victory against Staines Town two months later.

Having featured in the matchday squad on a number of occasions throughout the course of the 2015/16 season, Moncur was rewarded with a new one-year contract in June 2016.

He was rewarded with his first professional contract in June 2016, and went on to make a total of nine appearances for the O’s in SkyBet League Two during the 2016/17 campaign, before agreeing a new one-year deal in July 2017.
