With AFC Sudbury goalkeeper Paul Walker ruled out for probably four weeks with a broken little finger picked up in training last Thursday, the Bostik League North club`s manager Mark Morsley has been quick to bring in an experience replacement.

Morsley has signed 24-year-old Jake Jessup on a month’s loan from Vanarama National League South side Chelmsford City and in time for the Boxing Day fixture at Mildenhall Town.

Jessup will make his debut for AFC against a club he signed for in July of this year before transferring to Chelmsford soon afterwards.

He started with Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Great Yarmouth Town and then spent four seasons with Lowestoft Town and had a loan spell with Norwich United.

He was recently on loan with Bostik Premier side Thurrock.
