Tadcaster Albion have confirmed that midfielder Cam Murray has left the Evo-Stik League North club to join Evo-Stik League Premier side Farsley Celtic.
Farsley approached Murray a few weeks ago and he has made the decision to move.
Tadcaster were aware from the start that Murray still had great ambition to play at the highest level possible in the Pyramid and were never going to stop him from moving on if the opportunity arose.
Twenty-two-year-old Murray recorded one goal and one assist in twenty-four appearances during his short spell at the i2i stadium.
He signed for Taddy from Scarborough Athletic after spells with Leeds United, Bradford City, York City, FC United of Manchester and Stalybridge Celtic.
Manager Michael Morton told his club`s official Pitchero website: “At this time in his career and personal life Farsley is more suited to him in all areas.”
“He’s been superb on and off the pitch and we would like to wish him all the best in the future”.
