New Face Joins Shields Promotion Challenge

Aksel Juul could make his home debut for South Shields in the big game of New Year`s Day in the Evo-Stik League North against Scarborough Athletic – weather permitting.

Juul made his first appearance for the club in the away game against Kendal Town on Boxing Day.

The 22-year-old midfielder or forward joined Shields from Danish side Marienlyst, who play in the second tier in Denmark.

Newcastle-born, Juul spent time in the United States with Wingate University and Myrtle Beach Mutiny before going to Denmark.
