New Man At 1874`s Helm

1874 Northwich have announced that Brian Edge has been appointed as the Hallmark Security League Premier Division club’s new chairman.

The appointment was confirmed at a Board meeting.

Upon accepting the role, Edge told the club`s official website: “I am honoured to be appointed chairman of this great football club and will do my utmost to continue with all the good work that has already been carried out under the superb leadership of our previous chairman.”

The club also announced that Steve Richardson has been appointed as vice-chairman.

Richardson confirmed that he was “very honoured” to be asked to undertake this important role, and was “looking forward to working closely with Brian and the rest of the Board in ensuring the continued progression of 1874 Northwich Community Football Club”.

1874 football secretary Vicki England has been elected as a co-opted member of the Board and will serve until the next AGM.
