Bostik League North strugglers Romford have signed left-back Aaron Waters, midfielder Kai Heather, Max Austin and Rob Budd.

Waters re-joined Tilbury last season from Thurrock.

He had spent three seasons with Thurrock after signing from the Dockers, where he had made eighty-three appearances, scoring 9 goals and was captain in his first spell at Chadfields.

He had played a few games for Thurrock on loan as a youngster from Queen’s Park Rangers.

Heather joins Boro from league rivals Haringey Borough.

He had signed for Haringey in the summer from Great Wakering Rovers.

Originally with Dagenham & Redbridge, Heather also had spells with Heybridge Swifts and Cheshunt.

Young striker Max Austin has been playing for Tilbury`s under-23 side, while goalkeeper Budd arrives from Bostik South side Herne Bay.

Budd is a 31-year-old, 6`4″ custodian who was formerly with Thamesmead Town where he saved three penalties in the play-off final, gaining Mead promotion to the Premier Division.

He was also previously with VCD Athletic.

Waters, Heather and Austin all made their debuts in Saturday`s 2-0 home defeat to Dereham Town, while Budd was an unused sub.
