Evo-Stik League Premier club Marine AFC have signed striker Max Hazeldine from Evo-Stik League North side Ramsbottom United.

Twenty-year-old Hazeldine came through the youth ranks at Accrington Stanley where he made his Football League debut against Dagenham & Redbridge in 2015.

He had a loan spell under current Mariners` boss Tommy Lawson at Skelmersdale United, scoring 17 goals in twenty-two appearances, and a further loan spell in the Vanarama National League North at Stockport County.

Released by Stanley in July 2016 he re-joined Skelmersdale, going on to join Ramsbottom in January.

He is not cup-tied and is eligible for selection for Saturday’s Buildbase FA Trophy tie with FC United of Manchester at the Marine Travel Arena.
