Evo-Stik League North club Trafford have signed midfielder Sean Miller on a month`s loan from Evo-Stik league Premier neighbours Altrincham.
This follows a loan at Trafford`s league rivals Colne earlier this season as Miller regains full match fitness after a long injury lay-off.
The right-sided midfielder signed for Alty in early June 2016 from JD Welsh Premier putfit Connah’s Quay Nomads.
He had earlier been in Chester FC’s youth system, when former Altrincham boss Neil Young was manager there.
At Connah’s Quay he was voted as players’ and supporters` player of the year as well as being top scorer.
He was also named Welsh Premier`s young player of the year in 2015.
He missed most of 2016/17 pre-season through injury, making his first appearance in a friendly against Witton Albion on August 1st 2016.
He made his Altrincham debut as a substitute eight days later at FC Halifax Town.
Despite suffering a couple of injuries, Miller made a very positive impression at Altrincham, with 10 goals in twenty-four appearances up to the point where he signed an extended contract in January 2017. But he then missed several months of the season through injury and remained in rehabilitation into September 2017.
After returning as a substitute he went on a month’s loan to Colne, to regain full match fitness, from the start of November 2017.
So far this season, he has made thirteen appearances from the bench for Altrincham, with all of his three starts being in cup competitions.
