Joe Obi has resigned as player-manager of Midland League Division One club Bolehall Swifts.

Obi, who made 178 appearances and scored 55 goals for Swifts, left following last Saturday’s defeat to Chelmsley Town.

Obi was originally appointed as joint-manager with Craig Haywood in November 2015.

But he has been managing on his own since Haywood quit the club last summer.

Obi leaves Swifts in sixteenth place in the table.
