New Torquay United head coach Gary Owers has decided to release non-contract signings, striker Rory Fallon, midfielder Andy Haworth, and defender Chinua Cole.

“I’ve had to make some decisions to reduce the size of the squad to make it more manageable,” said Owers. “I’ve explained the situation to each of them and I thank them for their efforts and wish them well for the future.”

Fallon joined after playing for United in pre-season. He made one start and four substitute appearances.

Haworth joined the club in mid-August and made three starts, and three substitute appearances for the club.

Cole made three starts for the Gulls after joining at the end of August.
