Robbie Nightingale, manager of Evo-Stik League South East club Cambridge City, has brought two former favourites back to the Lilywhites.

As reported elsewhere, striker James Hall has re-joined City, although he doesn`t have to move grounds as he returns from ground landlords, Evo-Stik League South Premier St Ives Town.

Nightingale has also brought Jordan Williams back to Westwood Road initially on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League North promotion-chasers Brackley Town.

Williams, like Hall, needs no introduction to the City fans as the centre-back is the current players` player of the year after spending the whole of last season at City on loan from SkyBet League Two neighbours Cambridge United.

His appearances with Brackley have been limited this season, but the switch to City should see him get more regular first-team football.

has today made a double signing as he boosts his squad ahead of the trip to Aylesbury United on Saturday.
