Plymouth Parkway Confirm They Are Aiming For Promotion

South West Peninsula League Premier Division club Plymouth Parkway have confirmed that they have applied for promotion at the end of the season to the Toolstation Western League.

Parkway, currently thirteen points clear at the top of the table, are looking strong for promotion, and should results continue in the second half of the season, have stated their intention to go for promotion to the Western League.

Parkway would be joining teams from the south west up to Bristol and Bath area in the Western, including Buckland Athletic, who made the move from the SWPL to the Western in 2012.

Chairman Mark Russell told his club`s official website: “When I joined Plymouth Parkway, the goal of the club was to gain promotion and take the club through the leagues. The start of the 2017/18 season has been great and I am confident that the management and players will get the job done and help us gain promotion. We have also seen some great football at Bolitho and fans leaving the ground are always entertained”.
