Poole Returns To Grays As Player-Coach

Grays Athletic have announced that vastly experienced midfielder Glenn Poole has re-joined the Bostik League North club as player-coach.

Poole will need no introduction to Grays fans as he was a very popular player during his two spells with the club between 2005 and 2009.

He has had a long career in both League and non-League football, having played for Yeovil Town, Brentford, AFC Wimbledon, Canvey Island, Billericay and Braintree Town.

Most recently, Poole was player-coach at Bostik Premier neighbours Thurrock, where he made forty-eight appearances as they secured promotion to the Premier Division at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, Glenn Wilson is leaving the club.

He has received a very good offer from a Vanarama National League South team and therefore we will release him in order that he can take this forward.
