Evo-Stik League South Premier promotion-chasers Kettering Town have announced the return of winger Wilson Carvalho.

Carvalho made sixty-two appearances for the Poppies in his first spell at the club, scoring 19 goals, the first on his debut at Merthyr Town.

Carvalho started his career at Fulham, before moving for a spell at Stevenage.

He joined the Nike Academy and impressed in trials at Birmingham City before moving to Port Vale.

After a spell at Braintree Town and Canvey Island, he signed up at Corby Town and was a key part of their 2014/15 championship-winning side, earning promotion to the National League North.

He originally joined Kettering in November 2015 and since leaving the Poppies he has played for National League South outfit Oxford City.

Carvalho goes into tonight’s squad for the game against Royston Town at Latimer Park.
