Young defender Dan Vann has joined Evo-Stik League Premier club Stafford Rangers on a month`s loan from SkyBet League One side Walsall.

The Solihull-born centre-back has progressed through the Saddlers’ youth ranks and signed his first professional contract in November 2016.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” said the 18-year-old. “It’s the first time I’ll be going out on loan and it’ll be a good challenge for me.

“Hopefully I will fit in quite well and hopefully I can get some games.

“I’m hoping to play most of the games and develop more as a person and as a player”.
