Bostik League Premier club Brightlingsea Regent have extended the loan of defender George Keys until the end of the season.

The Colchester United defender has made excellent progress with Regent since joining in January.

Having made four starts so far, Keys has looked comfortable and has continued to improve game by game.

Manager Tom Rothery told the club`s Pitchero website: “It’s a great experience for George and he’s done a good job since joining.

“He’s particularly strong in terms of one-on-one defending and we have things that we still feel we can develop with George like his distribution at times but overall we are really happy with him, he’s been a very useful addition”.
