Evo-Stik League South Premier club Farnborough have announced that it has agreed to terminate the contract of Jack Saville with immediate effect.

The 26-year-old 6`3” centre-back joins Boro in the summer from Vanarama National League South side St Albans City.

He had signed for the Saints in January following his release from National League outfit Aldershot Town.

Saville made twenty-six appearances for Barnet in 2014/15, as they won the Conference (National League) title before moving to the Recreation Ground in the summer of 2015.

He turned professional with Southampton in 2009 at the age of 18 and enjoyed loan spells at Stockport County and Yeading before moving to Barnet and making his League debut in November 2011.

Saville made eighty-one appearances in four years for Barnet whilst adding another twenty-five outings for Aldershot in all competitions last season.

Manager, Spencer Day explained to the club`s official website: “I’m disappointed that it hasn’t worked out with Jack but sometimes it just doesn’t.

“We thank him for his time at Boro and wish him all the very best for the future as he’s a cracking lad.

“I continue to evaluate the squad and a further announcement will be made in due course”.
