Shaw Lane completed a league and Cup double in the space of a few days after beating Frickley Athletic 1-0 in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup final.
The Evo-Stik Northern Divison One South champions gained victory thanks to a late Spencer Harris header.
Shaw Lane’s boss Craig Elliott was delighted afterwards he said.
“It’s been a massive week for us all to do what we’ve done, I’m nice over the moon.
“It’s been full on the last four weeks. We looked a little jaded but the important thing is we have got over the line.”
An even first-half saw few chances created.
But during the second 45 minutes both teams could have scored Frickley’s Tyler Williams caused problems during the game and he was well tackled when it looked like he would be one on one with the keeper.
Shaw Lane’s Gavin Allott then fired wide when inside the area.
But with eight minutes to go a cross towards the far post from the right hand side found Harris who was just about able to get the ball in.
Celebrations took place on the Bramall Lane pitch. With the Shaw Lane players able to reflect on what has been a fine season.
