Five of the seven games in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division survived the wintry weather on Saturday with just Callington Town and Launceston postponing their matches.
The highest placed team in action were third-placed Falmouth Town who are very much the in-form side at the moment, but they were brought down to earth with a bump as Stoke Gabriel ran out 3-1 winners in the meeting at the Churchward Ground.
Bodmin Town finally made it to the halfway point in the league programme, the last side to do it, and they celebrated with a 4-3 win away at an Exmouth Town side who belied their recent poor form.
The only other winners were Helston Athletic, they climbed two places to ninth in the table after a 4-0 win away at Camelford.
Two games ended in draws with bottom of the table Witheridge collecting a rare away point from a 1-1 draw at Sticker and it was also 1-1 at Godolphin Atlantic who shared the points with visiting Torpoint Athletic.
