South West Peninsula League Round-Up

The never-ending winter claimed five of Saturday’s nine top flight matches in the South West Peninsula League with just four being staged.

Leaders Plymouth Parkway had an important, narrow 2-1 win away at Falmouth Town and are now just a maximum of fourteen points away from securing the title.

Saltash United missed the chance to climb into second spot after they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by St Austell, whilst two sides lower down the table picked up welcome wins.

Torpoint Athletic won 1-0 away at Cullompton Rangers and Sticker had a 2-1 home win over visiting Exmouth Town.
