With the season fast coming to an end, Bank Holiday Monday’s games in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division had only minor matters resting on them, but most were resolved.

Saltash United are assured of fourth place and the last prize money places with £400 after a 1-0 win at home to Camelford.

Ashes striker Ryan Richards failed to score so misses out on the `golden boot`, which is currently with Glynn Hobbs of Plymouth Parkway. However, he is not yet assured of it as Falmouth Town forward Jordan Annear is two behind after a hat-trick in his sides 8-1 win at Witheridge and Falmouth still have two matches remaining.

One scoring record was broken with Tavistock ending the season on 151 league goals after a 5-1 win over St Austell at Langsford Park.

The Lambs beating a record only set three days ago by Parkway with 147!

Elsewhere, Bodmin Town had a 2-1 win at home to Cullompton Rangers and also on home soil Launceston beat Newquay 2-0 at Pennygillam.

Torpoint Athletic collected three points on the road with a win at Callington Town, whilst two games ended in score draws with Ivybridge Town and Helston Athletic ending 1-1 at Erme Valley and Exmouth Town drew 2-2 with Godolphin Atlantic at Southern Road.

Sticker climbed a place without kicking a ball as they were awarded a win over Stoke Gabriel after the Railwaymen failed to raise a side.
