Southern Counties East League Round-Up….

Sevenoaks Town have risen to the top of the Southern Counties East League Premier Division table after their 3-0 win at Rusthall on Saturday.

The Oaks head three clubs on twenty-two points and they got there courtesy of a brace of goals from Byron Walker and a single from Rory Hill.

In second place are Croydon, however, they have played three games more.

On Saturday they beat Bearsted 3-0 with Marvin Armstrong, Lauris Chin and Jeff Duah-Kessie providing the goals.

Lordswood are third after eleven games. They enjoyed a 3-1 win at home to sixth-placed AFC Croydon Athletic.

Adam Hooper and Tom Wooldridge each scored for the Lords before Taylor Maddock pulled one back for the Rams in time added at the end of the first half.

Jack Mahon made certain with the Lords third goal 7 minutes into the second half.

Sheppey United came from 1-0 down to win 3-1 at home to Erith Town and sit in fourth place as a result.

The Dockers Andres Tobon scored the opener in the first half but then Luke Harvey, George Batten and Trey Williams each scored second half goals to take the points.

Crowborough Athletic are in fifth place and they enjoyed a comfortable 1-4 win at Tunbridge Wells.

Ross Treleaven, Zac Attwood, Sam Crabb and Tom Pearson each scored in the 1st half and Josh Biddlecomb hit the Wells’ goal 12 minutes from the end.

Whitstable Town are in eighth place after just eight games played. They went down 1-0 at home to Chatham Town with Lee Friend scoring the lone goal just before the hour-mark.

Beckenham Town won 2-1 at home to Canterbury City and sit in ninth place.

Richard Atkins put Becks in front in the first minute then Matt Martin levelled 9 minutes later.

Jake Britnell scored what proved to be the winning goal 3 minutes before the half-time break.

Deal Town and Corinthian shared a 0-0 draw, while Cray Valley PM came from behind to win 1-2 at Rochester United.

Jamie Rawsthorne scored to put the Spartans in front on 54 minutes but Jamie Day and Joe N’Guessen each scored in the last 5 minutes to secure all three points.

And finally, Glebe beat bottom-markers Hollands & Blair 1-0 with Jesse Darko scoring on 70 minutes.
