Evo-Stik League North club Tadcaster Albion have announced the signing of central midfielder Mitch Langton.

Twenty-year-old Langton has featured for Premier League Hull City and Vanarama National League North strugglers North Ferriby United before recently playing for Taddy`s league rivals Goole AFC.

“I’m delighted to be joining Tadcaster,” Langton told the club`s official Pitchero website. “They’re flying at the minute and are definitely a club heading upwards.

“I hope I can add to the success that the team are having at the minute.”

Albion boss Michael Morton is thrilled to finally get the deal done: “Mitch is someone we have been monitoring for quite a while now. He is a versatile midfielder who likes to get on the ball and make things happen.

“He fits our profile and I’m sure he will be delighted to meet up again with Jake Rose and Joe Pugh where they played at Hull City together.”

Langton is available to make his Tadcaster debut away at Prescot Cables tomorrow.
