Teversal FC`s management team have resigned after leading the club to a history-making season in the East Midlands Counties League.
Manager Dean Short, assistant Craig Charlesworth and coach Dean Mitchell have left the club with immediate effect due to family and work commitments.
Their resignation was received after the recent 4-1 home victory over Radcliffe Olympic, with the intention of giving the club the maximum time to appoint their successors.
The resignations were accepted at the Board of Directors with chairman Peter Cockerill speaking on behalf of the club stating: “The club would like to place on record their appreciation for the efforts of both Dean and Craig.
“They have taken us through the transition of our lateral movement to the East Midlands Counties League and to get to the final week still in the race for the title has been a great achievement.”
The Tevie Boys are looking to act quickly to appoint a new management team, which will lead the club into their Centenary Season with the added bonus of being back in the Emirates FA Cup and move in to another voyage in the East Midlands Counties League.
The new management team that will oversee the running of the club’s senior set-up.
