Bostik League Premier club Kingstonian have announced the early signings of forward Louie Theophanous and midfielder Reece Williams-Bowers.

Theophanous started the season just ended with champions Billericay Town, scoring 14 goals in their title-winning run.

He joined the K’s on loan in January 2018 and scored 3 goals in his six games for the club before moving on to Woking for the rest of the season.

Kingstonian manager Leigh Dynan is delighted with the return of Theophanous to the Hoops, this time on a permanent basis, telling the club`s official Pitchero website: “I’m delighted to secure Louie on a two-year deal – he made an instant impact in his loan move to us earlier this year, he is a quality striker and it shows the club’s ambition in trying to get promotion.”

K’s director Yioryos Vasilaras echoed the sentiments: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to complete a deal to sign Louie Theophanous – he is a proven goalscorer in the league above and finished the season off in the National League with Woking. He is fully on board with our plans to progress both on and off the pitch, as shown by him committing on a two-year contract.”

Theophanous said: “I’m buzzing to commit to Kingstonian under Leigh Dynan, and I’m looking forward to the season ahead and helping the team gain promotion. The club is working hard to get where they belong, and I want to be a part of that. The fans were brilliant while I was on loan here for just a few games and I can’t wait to get started!”

As for Williams-Bowers, Dynan said: “Reece is a good young prospect with a great work ethic. He’s scored goals at our level, and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Williams-Bowers said: “I’m pleased to have signed for the K’s. Looking forward to a promotion push! Onwards and upwards!”

Vasilaras added: “Young Reece Williams-Bowers is a fantastic young talent, a local Kingston lad who is hard working and skilful with a good eye for goal, as shown by his two goals he scored against us for Leatherhead earlier in the season. I’m delighted that we’ve been able to sign such a talent who has expressed a great hunger and desire to play for his local team and be successful.”

And it’s not going to end there as Vasilaras finished by saying: “Louie and Reece are the first two of a number of new, exciting signings that we hope to reveal this week”.
