Tongue`s Out At Celtic

Marine AFC have announced the signing of midfielder Liam Tongue from Evo-Stik League Premier rivals Stalybridge Celtic.

Hyde-based Tongue, 20, began his career at Stockport Georgians, moving to Cheadle Town where he won the players’ player of the season award in 2016.

He has also had a spell with Mossley AFC before moving on to Bower Fold at the end of last season.

He impressed in his pre-season campaign with Celtic, where he earned a contract before joining the Mariners.
