Bostik League Premier club Lowestoft Town have completed the signing of striker Matthew Foy on an initial month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Cambridge United with a view to it being extended.

The 19-year-old will be available for tomorrow’s clash with Margate and becomes Dale Brooks’ first signing as the Trawlerboys manager.

After capturing the forward, Brooks told the club`s official Pitchero website: “We are delighted to welcome Matty to the football club. He’s a young professional from Cambridge United who has been prolific in his youth team days and is thought very highly of by his parent club.

“We’re pleased to be able to give Matthew an opportunity to play for Lowestoft Town Football Club and hopefully, he can score some goals for us”.
