Trio Of Returnees To Moatsiders

Bostik League Premier club Merstham have welcomed Antone Douglas, Liam Harwood and Kershaney Samuels back to the Moatside.

Douglas returns to the Moatsiders following a brief spell with Bostik South side Carshalton Athletic.

He left Merstham for league rivals Worthing in the summer having been with the club for the 2016/17 season following a move from Billericay Town.

The 27-year-old`s other clubs include Staines Town, Histon and Waltham Forest.

Following impressive performances during pre-season, Harwood earned a deal with Vanarama National League South side Wealdstone.

Harwood, 29, is a very experienced, commanding defender who returned to action following a period away from the game.

His playing career includes Bristol Rovers, Carshalton Athletic, Bromley, Tonbridge Angels, Margate and Chipstead.

Twenty-three-year-old Samuels, who came through the youth team at Dulwich Hamlet, helped Merstham to the Emirates FA Cup First Round last season and started the televised tie with Oxford United at Moatside.

The versatile Samuels, who can operate in either central midfield or at right-back, moved to league rivals Worthing in the summer along with Douglas.
