Making his debut for Merstham in their 1-0 defeat at Lowestoft Town in the Bostik League Premier on Saturday was striker Andre McCollin.

McCollin was recently released by Merstham`s league rivals Tonbridge Angels.

He arrived at Longmead in May 2016 from Kingstonian where he scored 15 goals in twenty-three appearances.

His other clubs include Yeovil Town in the Football League, Corinthian-Casuals, Fisher Athletic and Aldershot Town.

McCollin was joined in the Moatsiders` squad at the Crown Ground by another new boy in Alberto Lubango, who joined from Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division side Colliers Wood United and came off the bench in the second half at Lowestoft.

Lubango, also a forward, started out in Merstham`s youth teams.
