Westfields Suffer Double Loss

Forward Jamie Molyneux has left Westfields to join Midland League Premier Division rivals Highgate United.

Molyneux returned to Westfields in September following his release from Evo-Stik League South Premier side Hereford FC.

The 23-year-old had joined the Bulls from Westfields in October 2016 but found it hard to break into the team.

Ironically, Molyneux leaves with Highgate due to play Westfields twice during the next week, with back-to-back matches taking place.

Highgate are based close to where Molyneux lives.

Meanwhile, Westfields confirmed that central midfielder Anthony Robbins will be retiring from football.

Another former Hereford player, Robbins returned to Westfields this season following a stint as player-manager at West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division side Pegasus Juniors.

But injuries have restricted his game time.
