Evo-Stik League Premier club Warrington Town have signed utility player Mathias Bakare from JD Welsh Premier side Connah`s Quay Noamds and goalkeeper Luke Pilling from Tranmere Rovers.
Bakare joined The Nomads in August 2017 but was released from his contract last month having made just five starts and five substitute appearances.
The 6’ 3” Bakare is primarily a right-back but can be handy in midfield.
The 22-year-old crossed the Border after a spell with Stalybridge Celtic.
He had previously played the majority of his football in Essex, with his previous clubs including Billericay Town, Brentwood Town, Aveley and also Crayford-based VCD Athletic.
Young keeper Pilling makes temporary move to the Yellows on a month’s loan.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper played for Tranmere in the Buildbase FA Trophy fixture against Solihull Moors and then came on as a substitute against AFC Fylde on New Year’s Day.
