Evo-Stik League Premier club Halesowen Town announced the name of their new investor on the pitch at half-time at Saturday’s crucial 3-2 win against Matlock Town.

Ex-Halesowen player and current youth team manager Keith McKenna joined chairwoman Karen Brookes on the pitch as Black Country Radio’s Adam Parkes introduced McKenna to the Yeltz faithful as the new investor and part owner of Halesowen Town Football Club.

Birmingham-based businessman McKenna is no stranger to Yeltz fans young and old and has recently brought success to the youth team who, along with other members of the youth management, gained promotion last season to the Midlands Floodlit Youth League Premier Division where they sit in a very respectable fourth position following the 2-0 win over local rivals Stourbridge last week.

All parties are hoping to have everything complete by the end of March meaning the club will have new owners by the end of the season.
