Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club Highworth Town have announced the signing of striker Shannon Pocock….

……from Hellenic League Division One West side Fairford Town.

Pocock made his debut on Satuday, coming on as a substitute for the last half-hour in the 2-0 defeat at Oxford City Nomads and was lively, featuring both in the middle and on the wing.

Pocock had signed for Fairford in the summer of 2012 after returning from a spell at university in the United States and he will add a touch of class to the Highworth frontline.

The young striker scored a hatful of goals in pre-season, including an outrageous chip at Clanfield and netted three times in fifteen starts for Fairford this season.
