There was a game each in the Ryman League Division One South and North on Tuesday night.

In the southern section, Hythe Town had the opportunity to oust Carshalton Athletic from fifth spot with a win at lowly Molesey.

But goals from Ross Chalke after 17 minutes, Ronald Sobowale after 28 minutes and then Joe Nwoko 8 minutes from time after sub Kenny Pogue had pulled the Cannons back into the game just before the hour-mark, saw the Moles make it back-to-back wins.

In the north, bottom-markers Wroxham fell to a twenty-eighth defeat from thirty-nine games to leave them sixteen points from the safety mark with only twenty-one points left to play for.

The Yachtsmen lost 2-0 at a Brentwood Town side who also needed the points to stay clear of the bottom three.

The home side took the lead right on the stroke of half-time through Lamar Reynolds.

And then 8 minutes after the restart, Andy Freeman grabbed Town`s second to secure the win and move them four points clear of third-bottom Soham Town Rangers.
