Tuncay Korkmaz, manager of ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division club Deeping Rangers, has….

….handed striker Phil Stebbing a return to non-League football.

Stebbing is a prolific frontman who played for Korkmaz at Stamford AFC before being beset by injury problems.

He underwent an anterior cruciate ligament operation earlier this year and will feature in the Deeping squad when they host Boston Town at Outgang Road tonight.

“If we can get Phil back to anywhere near his best, he will prove to be a great signing,” said Korkmaz, who has failed in a bid to capture Holbeach United wideman Dan Flack.
