Leafe Looking For New Tenants As Casuals Quit Church Road

Whyteleafe have sent a ‘come and join us’ plea to clubs looking for a groundshare next season.

The club installed a FIFA two-star 3G pitch a few years ago and are delighted with the new surface.

They have had tenants since putting down the artificial pitch. First, Tooting and Mitcham Wanderers used Church Road, and currently Walton Casuals are currently playing there in the Ryman South.

But the Casuals are moving out at the end of April. Leafe want a club to come forward and use the facilities going forward.

“Walton Casuals are nearing completion of their new stadium and will be vacating Church Road at the end of the 2016-17 season,” the club said.

“As such we have capacity for another groundshare and welcome discussions with interested parties.”
