Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club Highworth Town have a new goalkeeper in the form of Gary Eggleton….

….after he signed from struggling league rivals Shrivenham.

Work commitments meant regular stopper Ryan Griggs had to move away, so Worthians boss John Fisher swooped for Eggleton.

Eggleton made his debut in the 1-1 home draw against Thame United on Saturday.

Fisher said: “Since new manager Les Gill came in at Shrivenham Gary’s not been in favour and we were on the lookout. He started as number one as of Saturday.”
