New Sports Boss Brings in Three

Darren Finch, the new manager of North West Counties League Premier Division club Stockport Sports, wasted no time in….

….adding to his squad by swooping to sign three new players ahead of the Boxing Day clash with Maine Road at Stockport Sports Village.

Striker Liam Boswell and midfielder Sam Menelaou join from Finch’s former club Bury on loan, while Josh Miller, a winger or striker, has signed from struggling league rivals Squires Gate.

Miller, a former Arsenal trainee, is a familiar face to Saxons supporters as he played and scored for Squires Gate in their victory over The Saxons in November.

All three are young, talented, hungry players and exactly the type the Saxons are looking to attract to the club.
