.....North West Counties League Premier Division club take on Crewe Alexandra in their opening pre-season friendly.

The npower League One newcomers have indicated that they will be bringing a full first-team squad for the match, which should attract a good attendance as fans of both sides have the chance to see their clubs' latest signings.

Bears` secretary Ken Mead said: "It is a match that our manager Jim Vince, who works at the Crewe Alexandra Academy, is really looking forward to as he admires the way Crewe play their football, and looks to get his teams playing attractive attacking football.

"Fans are asked to turn up a little earlier than usual as the attendance is hoped to be among the highest of the season."
