East Midlands Counties League club Barrow Town have completed the signing of former Bardon Hill utility player Lewis Allen.

Allen Mounts Comeback with Riversiders

Lewis Allen

The defender or midfielder is the older brother of Riversiders` striker Jamie, and lists Spalding United, Loughborough Dynamo and Quorn amongst his former clubs.

The player has spent eighteen months out of the game due to work commitments, but made a second half debut last Tuesday night in the 5-3 Loughborough Charity Cup defeat to one of his former clubs, Quorn.

Allen is likely to play a game or two with the reserves whilst he regains match fitness, but will add extra depth to the Riversiders` squad which has suffered a spate of injuries in the last few weeks.
