....staying at Wembley next season.
The FA confirmed that the 2013 final will take place on Saturday, May 4th, even though its long-term weekend partner, the FA Trophy final, has been moved to late March.
This year’s final was between two Northern League clubs and there were worries that a low crowd of just over 5,000 would prompt the FA to consider a move away from Wembley, but FA officials said straight after the final that they would look at ways of making the day itself more attractive to neutral fans in an attempt to boost the attendance.
Amos said: “My initial reaction is that it's good news, though I suppose it'll still clash with quite a few Premiership fixtures - that's unavoidable. All my dealings with the FA since this year's Vase final have underlined their commitment to keep the Vase final at Wembley and to work hard towards that end. I wasn't expecting positive news so soon - I'm delighted.”
The Trophy final has been moved so then it doesn’t interfere with the plays offs in the Football Conference and its feeder leagues.
