Another Draw For Cray Maintains Unbeaten Record

Cray Wanderers may only be sitting in ninth place in the Bostik League South table, but they have still to taste defeat in 2017/18.

However, they have only two wins from their six matches after being held to a fourth draw by Hastings United at Hayes Lane on Wednesday night.

Cray got off to a good start with a goal in the 13th minute from Brandon Scott (below).

Bit 9 minutes before half-time, Hastings were back on level terms when Davide Rodari was brought down in the box and Curtis Gayler equalised from the resulting penalty.

Both sides had their opportunities to win the game in the second half, but a draw was probably a fair outcome in the end.
