Another Important Signing for Basford
Anthony Gregory debuting for Basford

....Anthony Gregory, who joins from Baker Joiner Midland Alliance outfit Dunkirk.

Former Eastwood Town utility player Gregory, who can play in all central areas of the team, has been a target for Basford for the last twelve months, and has an enviable scoring record for a central midfielder.

United spokesman Chris Munroe feels that all the pre-season additions that came on top of last season`s Central Midlands League `double` winning campaign are now being totally justified. "It raised a lot of eyebrows when we went for so many quality signings but this now looks totally justified."

Basford have set off to a storming start in the East Midlands Counties League and whilst early days, the signs look progressive for the North Nottinghamshire club.
